GateRocket shows off enhanced FPGA debug and verification solution at DAC

GateRocket: Cool FPGA tools and a fun giveaway at DAC

As FPGAs get more and more complex, GateRocket is starting to get more attention for its industry-only FPGA-specific verification and debug solution. FPGAs, like Xilinx’s Virtex-6 (which GateRocket just announced support for), have reached unprecedented levels of size and complexity. Add in boatloads of IP plus diverse, dispersed design teams, and it’s a verification headache once limited to only ASIC and ASSP designers.

GateRocket is ahead of the curve with tools just for people using FPGAs (including ASIC prototypes), and it leverages its ’device native’ approach that combines wicked fast (sorry, they’re from Boston) verification performance, plus a highly efficient debugging systems to cut verification time in half or more.

Wired Island was side by side with Gate Rocket at the 47th Annual Design Automation Conference (DAC) in Anaheim this month (our umpteenth DAC appearance since 1988), and helped capture some of the action from the show floor on the company’s RocketBlog, which we edit and produce most of the content for.
